ResearchState of the Sector: use the 2024 evidence with its date clear
Forum Central and VAL’s sector update describes Leeds organisations, workforce, income and areas of work.
The update published in 2025 draws on 2024 data; it is not a live count of organisations or a 2026 funding forecast.
Coverage: Leeds
What this could mean
Use the report for background evidence, then add more recent local evidence for a specific funding bid.
What remains uncertain
Data period: 2024. Methods and reporting lags matter; do not relabel these figures as 2026 results.
