Craven will move to a different NHS ICB footprint by April 2027
Craven is due to move from the West Yorkshire ICB footprint to Humber and North Yorkshire by 1 April 2027.
FACT: NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care have confirmed that Integrated Care Board boundaries will align with new local-government footprints. Craven, currently within Bradford District and Craven place, is due to transfer from NHS West Yorkshire ICB to NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB by 1 April 2027.
NHS West Yorkshire ICB says commissioning arrangements will be transferred with partner organisations. It does not anticipate significant changes for Craven patients, who should continue using their current GP practices and other health and care settings.
ANALYSIS: The change is outside Leeds itself but is relevant to organisations working across West Yorkshire or serving people across current ICB boundaries. Further operational details are still to be published.

What this could mean
Cross-boundary VCSE and health partners may need to check future commissioning, partnership and referral arrangements for work involving Craven.
What remains uncertain
The announcement confirms the intended boundary change but not every operational implication. It says further information will follow.
